What is PBS?

Paradigm Behavior Services (PBS) was established in 2019 by Board Certified Behavior Analyst with the vision to provide high-quality ABA services to children with autism and developmental disabilities. After decades of working for various companies, we wanted to focus on quality ABA services over quantity so our team focuses on providing quality programming, supervising, and training staff to practice ABA therapy.

Our motivation to serve our clients is not limited to profit but our strong desire to provide quality services and make a difference. We understand it’s a long road with lots of ups and downs for our families, but we want to take that journey with them and help their children shine and reach their full abilities. We also want our employees to learn and grow in the field and to potentially become analysts.

Preety started her career in psychology with an aspiration to become a counselor. She received her graduate degree in Psychology in 2004 followed by specialization in counseling psychology. A post graduate diploma in Behavior Science Technology at George Brown College, Canada in 2010 exposed her to the field of Behavior Analysis. At that point, she decided to pursue her career in ABA. She became Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) in 2013. Then, she became a BCBA in 2014 by completing her coursework in Florida Institute of Technology (FIT). She partnered with Helina Pierre and decided to establish PBDS in 2016 to provide high-quality ABA services to children and families in need.

Preety has experience working with clients in various settings including homes, private schools, and ABA centers. She also has extensive knowledge of various diagnoses from autism to Emotional Behavioral Disorders (EBD). She specializes in behavior reduction programs, functional communication training, and teaching self-care skills. She has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults but she is passionate about working with early learners to develop their skills.

Preety believes that every child is unique and they all learn at a different pace and in a different way. She respects their individuality and wants to help them shine through any label. She takes a team approach as she involves all individuals caring for the child as part of the treatment. She believes if parents and all other professionals involved work together on specific goals then the sky is the limit!
